Macromedia HomeSite Integration

Surround SCM can be integrated with Macromedia HomeSite.

1. Make sure that the following registry key exists with the correct values:
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SourceControlProvider\InstalledSCCProviders
   String name: Surround SCM SCCI
   String value: Software\Seapine Software\Surround SCM\Scci
2. Create a Surround SCM working directory.
3. Open an existing HomeSite project or create a HomeSite project that has the same location as the working directory you set in Surround SCM.
4. Right-click the HomeSite project and choose Source Control > Choose Source Control Provider.
5. Select Surround SCM SCCI and click OK.
6. Right-click the HomeSite project and choose Source Control > Map Project to Source Control.
7. When you save a new file to the web server, HomeSite will prompt you to add the files to source control.

To access Surround SCM commands from HomeSite, right-click a file and choose Source Control > <command name>.
