Sample projects work only with the current version of TestTrack
The following TestTrack 2008 projects demonstrate some of the different ways that TestTrack Studio can be used. Seapine does not provide support for these examples.
Note: These projects will not work with earlier versions of TestTrack.
- Default Sample - Default sample project that ships with TestTrack. Helpful if you've made changes to your sample project and want to start fresh.
- Download the default sample project.
- Compliance - Demonstrates TestTrack compliance features, most often used by the following industries: pharmaceutical, medical, life sciences, health care, financial, military, and organizations that use Sarbanes-Oxley, FDA 21CFR11, ITIL, or other rigorous quality control processes.
- Download the compliance project.
- Financial Services - Demonstrates the TestTrack Studio defect tracking and test case management features commonly used by financial services companies.
- Download the financial services project.
- Workflow and Automation Rules - Demonstrates how automation rules can simplify and enforce complex workflow processes.
- Download the workflow project.
- Integrated Help Desk - Demonstrates how a workflow can be divided to handle two departments - A help desk group and a development group. The two paths of the workflow are connected for cross-department items.
- Download the integrated help desk project.
- Integrated Requirements and Issues - Demonstrates how a single TestTrack project can be used to track Requirements and Development Issues. The following features have been configured:
- The Disposition field has been relabeled to Item Type. Make this field required.
- Changed to the Security Group settings for all groups. Under Field Security -> Items, changed the Edit Privileges settings for the Item Type field to 'Read Only'. Do not change the setting for the Add Privilege parameter.
- The field values for the Disposition field have been changed to "Requirement" and "Development Issue".
- The workflow has been changed to have two paths: one for requirements and one for development issues.
- Automation rule triggers has been created so that a created item will be pushed to the proper workflow state based on the value of the Item Type field.
- The Product field has been rename to Subcategory. The field values for the field have been changed to requirement and issue categories.
- A field relationship between the Item Type and Subcategory fields is set so only the appropriate subcategory fields are displayed.
- Reports always include the Item Type value needed so Requirements and Development issues are not mixed.
- Download the requirements/issues project.
