ViewsPersonal toolsStatus Tool: Using Scripts to Save or Export DataFrom Seapine LabsThe QA Wizard Pro Status Tool monitors script execution of local or remote scripts on a real-time basis, and provides a step-by-step listing for each script. This information can be manually backed up or exported to many different file formats. The same actions can also be performed from a QA Wizard Pro script by treating the Status Tool as a separate application. The main limitation of this is that the Status Tool console must be open and remain open for the script to access it, so that the “ConnectToProcess” function is used to access the application rather than Run App(). The Status_Tool_Scripts.zip file contains several sample scripts that perform the backup and export tasks and an application repository file. |
