TFS Integration

While TestTrack officially does not have an integration with Team Foundation Server, there are a few samples available here to help you link both tools together:

• TestTrack Pro Add-in Toolbar for Visual Studio: Link to blog post on how the TestTrack Add-in toolbar for Visual Studio can be used with the Team Explorer.

• Create_TFS_Work_Item_when_Test_Run_Fails: This script integrates TestTrack TCM with TFS work items. When a test run fails in TCM, automatically create a work item of type "bug" in TFS.

• Attach2TestTrack: Extends the TFS source code control explorer and exposes a menu item in the context menu. Allows the user to choose a file (or files) and link it with one or more TestTrack items from a list.

• Attach_TFS_Check-in_to_TestTrack: Custom Check in policy script written in C# that uses the TestTrack SOAP SDK to require TFS users to include a defect number in the check in comments. Pending changes are associated with a defect in TestTrack Pro.
